Alyssa Alvarez Nutrition

ABOUT ME
Alyssa became a Registered Dietitian in 2017 after earning her Bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut. She then started work as an inpatient Clinical Dietitian in Oncology and the Intensive Care Units. Knowing the power of nutrition and wanting to use it to truly optimize health, she set on to expand her education. Alyssa then completed her Master's degree in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine from the University of Western States in 2022.
After six years of inpatient work and two years working in a metabolic health clinic, Alyssa decided to take a break from the work force to take care of her growing family. Her experience as a new mom led her to spend any spare moment researching and reading about true foundations of nourishment to help women thrive throughout pregnancy and motherhood.
When working with Alyssa, expect someone who will listen to your concerns, look at whole-body symptoms, and work to uncover the root cause of disease. She will establish goals and agree on realistic changes to nutrition, supplementation, and lifestyle that get you on the path to wellness.
